Job Description

Expected Start Date:

May 11th, 2026 (1 position)

June 24th, 2026 (2 positions)

​

Hours: Wed. to Sun. 9am to 4pm  

Pay: $16.90/hour

​

Your duties will include:

• Daily opening and closing procedures

• Greeting visitors and conducting tours, to individuals and groups

• Answer the telephone, update and monitor social media

• Maintain the artifact displays

• Cleaning and grounds keeping

• Opportunities available for those interested in event planning, social media, and writing.

​

We are looking for students between the ages of 16 and 30 with these qualities:

• organized

• interested in history, agriculture and our local area

• solid oral and written communication skills

• good with people

• work well independently

​

Training is provided.

​

The Agricultural Museum of New Brunswick has a limited number of summer employment opportunities as we are dependent on funding from Canada Summer Jobs and the Community Museums Summer Employment Program. Interested candidates should research these youth employment programs and ensure that they qualify.
